Final Conferences in Manavgat and Leipzig

We are in the final phase of the Sinbad Project. The final seminar in Managvat (Turkey) took already place on May 28th 2016.

The second conference will take place on June 23rd in Leipzig (Germany). We would like to invite you into the World of Storytelling by presenting very informative talks of Scientists and Story Tellers from all over Germany and the Netherlands who will offer an insight in the project achievement of the last 2 years.

Sinbad Workshops

In the past weeks all Sinbad Partners run Storytelling Practice Workshops for primary care teachers, nursery and kindergarten employers and other staff members who are involved in early childhood education. The workshops were much appreciated by the participants. As a result we will try and offer more courses after the Sinbad Project has officially finished. Sinbad E-learning Course

Please find the Sinbad E-learning course in German, English, Greek, Lithuanian, Turkish and Dutch. Please take a look, your feedback will be much appreciated! The course aims to provide useful information to everybody interested in story telling techniques, be it for professional or non-professional reasons.

The course is free of charge and offers information on the EU key competences, advice on how to choose and present suitable stories and how to help children’s competence development with the help of storytelling. In Addition the course provides a story collection, examples of how to integrate your new knowledge into your work with small children and offers the chance for self-evaluation. At the end of the course you are able to register for a course certification.

A forum offers you the opportunity for exchange with your colleagues. Topics are competence based learning, innovative methods in early childhood education but also suitability of stories for different purposes. Thanks to an integrated translation tool you can exchange with colleagues independently of language borders.
