The Sinbad project offers further training in storytelling for people working in early childhood education with the aim to enhance the key competence acquisition of children between 3 and 7.

Based on a pedagogical framework, developed by the PLATO at the University of Leiden, and education pack was developed which will be implemented in form of a blended learning.

An elearning course contains training about the concept of competence, competence acquisition as well as methodologies, techniques and resources about storytelling in education. Storytelling practice sessions in all implementing partner countries provide a platform for practicing the acquired knowledge and skills. 

Guidelines on how to organise storytelling practice will make the tools self-sustainable and allow pre-school and primary teachers as well as other professionals in early childhood education to establish local storytelling groups for continuous education.
